This interesting moment...

...When the first spring ambassadors are saffron crocuses (Crocus sativus), who one would probably associate with Northern Africa or Middle East, but not a shadowy garden in Innsbruck. I'm really exited to see them in bloom!

A bit of Autumn inspiration

End of September - time when most stores are getting ready for Christmas, at least here in Austria.

However, it is also the time of bulbs and tubers, and you can literally find them anywhere, from Lidl to more specialized gardening centres.
